The Mudhook Yacht Club Charitable Trust [SCO 31578] was formed in 2001 with the purpose of providing funds for the development of sailing including supporting youth events. Amongst other purposes, the Trustees can make available to support the development of competitive sailing to the youth of the Clyde and West Coast of Scotland. These are limited bursaries to help with the funding of young people up to secondary education age to enable them to attend regattas outwith the Clyde area and can be used for either travel or equipment. At present, each individual bursary is limited to £250 in any one year.
