Racing on the Clyde, in the best traditions
The Mudhook Yacht Club was formed in 1873 and encourages Amateur Yacht Sailing on the Firth of Clyde, Yacht Building and all matters connected with the same.
The number of members shall not exceed forty (and one forbye), exclusive of Senior Members and Honorary Life Members.
It has no fixed shore base. It organises yacht racing and cruising events on the Clyde and West Coast of Scotland.
The 2024 Regatta will be in a new format from earlier years being a one day Regatta off Inverkip on 1 June being part of the proposed new season-long championship series exclusively for boats racing 2-handed.
The 2023 Saturn Sails Regatta was held on 10-11th June with racing on the East Patch of the Firth of Clyde off Helensburgh and with the co-operation of Helensburgh Sailing Club.
