
2-handed racing on the Clyde
The Mudhook Yacht Club was formed in 1873 and encourages Amateur Yacht Sailing on the Firth of Clyde, Yacht Building and all matters connected with the same.
The number of members shall not exceed forty (and one forbye), exclusive of Senior Members and Honorary Life Members.
It has no fixed shore base. It organises yacht racing and cruising events on the Clyde and West Coast of Scotland.
The 2025 season 2 Handed Series proved popular with several constituent events forming an interesting and competitive series. The overall results appear in the Recent Regatta and Series section of this site.
The 2026 2 Handed Series has been organised again with details on the Notice Board and on social media. The first event in the series was the CCC Round Bute Race on 25 April. The Club's own event is the 2-handed Island Challenge on 30 May - details in the 2026 events section of this site.
